More oxygen. Deeper repair. Accelerated recovery.
What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivers pure oxygen under pressure, increasing the oxygen dissolved in your blood plasma by up to 1,500%. That extraordinary level of oxygenation supports deep tissue repair, cognitive performance, immune resilience, and cellular longevity, all in a single, restful session.
Hamptons BioMed uses the One-Hype Smart Hyperbaric Chamber, a clinical-grade, CE-certified hyperbaric system installed in more than 1,100 locations worldwide. Unlike soft-shell chambers that deliver ambient air, the One-Hype delivers pure oxygen under pressure, allowing it to dissolve directly into the blood plasma and reach tissues that standard circulation cannot easily access. The chamber features eight smart-guided protocols co-developed by hyperbaric and performance experts, targeting anti-aging, physical recovery, cognitive enhancement, and post-operative healing.
How Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Works
The science behind HBOT
Under pressure, oxygen molecules dissolve into the blood plasma at dramatically elevated levels: up to 1,500% above normal. This oxygen-rich plasma reaches deep tissues, joints, organs, and the brain, supporting the body's natural repair mechanisms where they are needed most.
What hyperbaric oxygen may support:
- Deep tissue oxygenation and repair
- Cognitive performance and neuroprotection
- Reduction of inflammation
- Immune resilience
- Recovery from chronic infection, injury, and neurological conditions
- Telomere support and cellular longevity
Clinical findings have shown measurable improvements in telomere length, inflammatory markers, and angiogenesis markers. While broader clinical validation continues, the evidence base supporting HBOT is extensive and growing.

What to expect with HBOT
your Hyberbaric Oxygen Therapy experience

You will recline comfortably inside the One-Hype chamber while pure oxygen is delivered under gentle pressure. Sessions are quiet, restful, and fully supervised. Your specialist will guide you through equalization techniques before your first session to ensure comfort throughout. Session duration and pressure settings are determined by your protocol and health goals.
First Time Protocol
Starting Your First Hyperbaric Session
Every first-time client at HBM begins at a lower pressure setting, typically 1.3 ATA for 30 minutes, regardless of any prior hyperbaric experience elsewhere. This isn't a limitation, it's how we protect the benefit: introducing too much oxygen too quickly can actually work against you if your cells are already under stress, and we want to see how your body responds under our protocol before progressing. As your body responds, your specialist will guide you toward higher settings and longer sessions over time.
Better with what comes after
How HBOT FIts your protocol
Hyperbaric oxygen performs best when the body has been prepared. We recommend pairing it after Firefly or the Red Light Bed, which prime the cellular environment for deeper oxygenation. The Human Regenerator following HBOT further supports the cellular recovery initiated during your session. Your specialist will build your sequence accordingly.

Meet Your Technicians
Our trained hyperbaric technicians guide every session at HBM, with full clinical oversight available. All sessions above 2.2 ATA require medical doctor approval and a licensed medical professional present, a standard we hold to without exception.

HBOT Frequently Asked Questions
HBOT has a well-established safety record when delivered in a properly supervised environment. Our team reviews your full health history before your first session to confirm you area good candidate and to identify any considerations specific to your situation.
HBOT is not appropriate for individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure, untreated pneumothorax, severe COPD, uncontrolled seizure disorders, or active upper respiratory infections. Certain medications require review before use. Pregnancy is a contraindication except in life-threatening circumstances. Our team will conduct a full intake before your first session to ensure it is appropriate for you.
Research protocols typically involve multiple sessions over a defined period. Your specialist will recommend a cadence based on your health goals and history.
Starting low allows your body to acclimate safely, especially if you're dealing with inflammation, chronic illness, or oxidative stress. We typically begin clients at 1.3 ATA for 30 minutes, then progress to 60-minute sessions before increasing pressure. From there, progression generally follows 1.5 ATA, then 1.7 to 1.8 ATA, and finally 2.0 ATA for clients who are ready for it. Progression is based on how your body responds, not a fixed timeline, and your specialist will guide you toward higher settings as you're ready. Some clients find their ideal setting well before 2.0 ATA, and that's completely appropriate.
Yes. HBOT pairs especially well following Firefly or the Red Light Bed, and the Human Regenerator is an excellent complement after your session. No IV therapy should be scheduled on the same day as HBOT unless directed by a physician.
